![]() about OxebizThe Oxebiz CMS was developed by Oxford Webware (www.oxfordwebware.com) in 2003 and is now in use in these websites.
Oxebiz's strengths compared to other CMSs are as follows: Flexible Oxebiz has no claim on your website format or the way you develop web pages. The back-end is powerful enough to manage content in remarkable ways, but at the front end you simply call upon the resources you need to get the job done. Fast Oxebiz uses MySQL, the read-optimised web database server, to store and retreive website content. The small code footprint also ensures that you are not burning inordinate amounts of processor cycles just to show the odd paragraph of text. Workflow Oxebiz allows you to specify who can access different types of content and to split content into zones. Only the authors you specify have access to the 'live' zone or any other zones. Contacts Oxebiz back-end has a contact management console, and your contacts are integrated into the website via easy-to-build login and registration forms. Multilingual Oxebiz back-end supports multiple language translations of content out of the box. Emailing Oxebiz supports bulk emailing and email queueing. The email queue facility works with a remote mail dispatcher, available with the Oxebiz source code.
| "Oxebiz is really easy to use; having it means I can add pictures and text to my website without having to worry about any of the technical details." Jeremy Hunt, Meta-Morph Design (User) "I can recommend Oxebiz to other software developers as a very useful tool for building content-managed websites."
