The Oxebiz Project

Oxfordshire Bioscience Network

Site: http://www.oxfordshirebioscience.com

The Problem:

OBN wanted two-way communication between the network and their members. In particular they wanted to send a regular email to 3000 members, and wanted to give members the opportunity to promote themselves via the web site without too much manual intervention.

The Project:

Oxford Webware created a web site based on the needs of the organisation. All members can upload news and company profiles, and OBN can send regular bulletins without intervention from Oxford Webware, which are sent out, formatted, to every member.

The Result:

OBN are spending much less time dealing with routine enquiries, and more time running events to get bioscientists together to share ideas.

"Oxebiz is really easy to use; having it means I can add pictures and text to my website without having to worry about any of the technical details."

Jeremy Hunt, Meta-Morph Design (User)

"I can recommend Oxebiz to other software developers as a very useful tool for building content-managed websites."

Dave Fletcher, White October (Technology Reseller)
